Buffalo Bills vs. Atlanta Falcons Week 6 NFL Betting Picks and Predictions

Bills Look to Rebound Against Rested Falcons

Week 6 wraps up with a compelling Monday Night Football matchup as the Buffalo Bills travel to Atlanta to take on a Falcons team coming off an early bye week. The Bills are looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season, while the well-rested Falcons aim to prove their anemic offensive ranking is not indicative of their talent. If it were me, I definitely wouldn't want a bye week so early in the season and certainly not coming off a win where the team put up 34 points. There goes the momentum.

The Bills' high-powered offense will face a tough test against a surprisingly stout Falcons defense, which ranks first in the league in several key metrics. Quarterback Josh Allen and his offense, which ranks third overall, will need to be sharp. A key matchup to watch will be Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid, who is coming off a career-best 108 receiving yards, against the Falcons' formidable safety duo of Jessie Bates III and Xavier Watts.

On the injury front, the Bills will be without starting linebacker Matt Milano, who aggravated a pectoral injury last week. This has some calling for him to be handed his walking papers, but the Bills seem to be ready to hang on a little longer. At the same time, however, they are hopeful that defensive tackle Ed Oliver will return after a four-game absence to help give the backfield a better chance.

The Falcons, meanwhile, are hoping their bye week provided a much-needed reset, particularly for their 26th-ranked scoring offense. They plan to lean on their rushing attack, led by standout running back Bijan Robinson, against a Bills run defense that ranks a vulnerable 28th in the league. Robinson has been a dual-threat monster, and the Falcons' identity is clearly built around running the football.
