Boston Celtics Vs. Orlando Magic Friday Night NBA Betting Predictions 11/7/2025

NBA Cup Chaos: Queta’s Monster Game Sets Up Grind in Orlando

Friday night is going to hit different as the Emirates NBA Cup group stage heats up. We’ve got a massive East Coast battle when the Boston Celtics roll down to the Kia Center to take on the Orlando Magic. This isn’t just some random November game, folks. It’s the Cup, and every possession matters for that prize pool and those coveted bracket spots.

Orlando is one of the hosts of this one and is coming into this as odds-on favorites on a very thin line, and this only shows just how much credit is being extended to this up-and-coming Magic side. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner are flat-out balling, and this physical, high-motor brand of play has been nothing but a dream match for opponents thus far this season. Tonight will be a statement game for the Magic (3-5).

But hold up, we have to talk about Boston’s secret weapon: Neemias Queta. The big man just had himself an absolute monster game on Wednesday against the Wizards, dropping a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double while chipping in five assists for good measure. He was aggressive, he was physical, and he was the difference-maker they needed to snap a little skid. Coach Joe Mazzulla clearly has high standards, constantly challenging Queta, and the center is responding by elevating his game. That kind of internal fire is what the Celtics (4-5) need to push them through the tournament.

The matchup is going to be a pure grind, especially in the paint. Can Queta continue to be that reliable presence against the Magic’s athletic front line? And more importantly, can the C's get things done with Josh Minott, possibly as Jayson Tatum's replacement, and Jaylen Brown, and stay efficient against a tough Magic defense that is notorious for locking things down at home?

Vegas has Orlando as the favorite, but after watching Queta play on Wednesday, you know Boston is coming in with some serious momentum. This has all the makings of an absolute dogfight that could easily come down to the final minute of the fourth quarter. Do not miss this Cup action.
